Nearmap commissioned Haag Engineering to conduct an accuracy study. Haag Engineering physically measured 39 roofs across the U.S. and compared to Nearmap Roof Measurements. The result is highly accurate. Nearmap’s total roof area across the 39 roofs was only 0.1% different from Haag’s manual measurements, with an absolute variation of 1.6% per building and 2.2% per individual roof section, well within the common 10% waste factor. Nearmap continues to improve the measurements product and expects even better accuracy in the near future.
What is the turnaround time for measurements?
