SALT LAKE CITY — October 13, 2026 — Nearmap, the leading global property intelligence company, today announced an expansion of its U.S. capture program through Nearmap Reach, bringing annual 4cm aerial imagery and AI-powered property intelligence to a broader national footprint. Together, Nearmap Reach and existing offering, Nearmap Core, will cover 97% of the U.S. population and 95% of U.S. buildings.
Nearmap Reach sets a new benchmark with the most comprehensive coverage, recency, and resolution to date. Customers gain access to detailed 4cm imagery, refreshed annually, across a substantially broader geographic footprint, with the 130+ AI layers and delivery channels they use today.
The expanded program is made possible by Nearmap HyperCamera4, the company’s next-generation AI-optimized aerial imaging instrument. Built on two decades of patented innovation, HyperCamera4 is a system engineered to push the limits of resolution, coverage scale, and refresh frequency.
“Property intelligence becomes more valuable when it can be applied consistently across an entire portfolio,” said Andy Watt, CEO of Nearmap. “Expanding our coverage with Nearmap Reach gives customers additional opportunities to put our data to work, from evaluating more prospective business to understanding risk across more properties. It’s a meaningful step toward making high-quality property intelligence available wherever our customers need it.”
This expansion is in response to growing demand from customers to extend the value of Nearmap property intelligence across more of the properties and markets they serve. By bringing high-resolution imagery and AI-powered insights to more locations, Nearmap Reach puts the same, trusted property intelligence into the hands of insurers, government organizations, and AECO firms.
With the addition of Nearmap Reach, customers can expect:
Expanded U.S. coverage across a significantly broader geographic footprint, covering 97% of the US population
4cm resolution imagery for detailed visibility into 95% of buildings and their surroundings
Annual Nearmap Reach capture to provide a consistent, current view, year over year
130+ AI layers that turn imagery into actionable property intelligence
Nearmap Reach will be offered alongside the existing Nearmap Core capture program, which will continue to refresh metropolitan areas up to three times a year, capturing 88.5% of the US population.
Although a new offering, Nearmap Reach will be available through Nearmap standard delivery channels and capture is scheduled to begin in January 2027. Customers who add it will see the new areas alongside existing Nearmap Core coverage, giving users a consistent way to access the additional imagery and AI insights within their existing workflows.
