Post Catastrophe Imagery and AI-derived property damage and condition data unite to help insurers process customer claims more efficiently.
Since Nearmap began operating in 2007, our focus has been fixed on producing content and products that deliver a market-leading mix of imagery, data and technology.
While there has been plenty of change in the last 15 years since we were founded, one thing has remained: our commitment to technology, product investment and to you, our customers. This intentional and highly focused evolution has lifted us to our current position as a top-tier provider of geospatial content.
Over the last 11 years, Nearmap has absorbed multiple rounds of service cost increases, including fuel costs and operating costs. In that time, despite the higher costs of delivering market-leading content, our subscription base-prices did not increase.
Now, with the impact of global market pressures and subsequent rising operating costs, we are increasing our subscription prices. This is our first base-price increase in eleven years.
I understand that if you’re in business, you’re under pressure too. And I understand the need to streamline costs – it’s a large part of my day as well, both in business and at home.
Whenever I get a subscription price increase notice — and as an avid content and software subscriber, I get many — I always ask myself “is it worth it?”. I’ll sit down and do a quick back-of-the-envelope check.
Below, I've outlined some of the key Nearmap developments and improvements that I believe can help you achieve better results in your business.
Nearmap now operates at an entirely new level. We photograph more of the population than ever before with our innovative proprietary camera systems, and we enhance that content with valuable geospatial data. I believe that the rapid insights this unlocks, at a massive scale, can provide great value to our customers.
If you have sent us feedback as a customer throughout this growth period, you have helped influence the direction of our research, development, product updates and new releases. Your input helps to keep us focused on delivering capabilities that can drive tangible results for your business.
I wish you a successful year ahead and look forward to helping you get the most out of your Nearmap subscription.
