The areas we currently cover are detailed in this NearMap PhotoMap Coverage (PDF) document.
We get a lot of questions regarding where we are covering with our PhotoMaps, and when new places will be covered. This note is to give an overall understanding of what you can expect to see.
We generally add new PhotoMaps for these cities each month, subject to weather and Air Traffic Control (ATC). The resolution is typically 7.5cm, although we might fly at much higher resolution for special events. We also might fly higher or slightly lower resolution for parts of a city where there are particularly complex ATC requirements (Sydney being a notable example).
Over the next few months, you will see our PhotoMaps expanding out from the cities. We typically update these at least once a year, although some might be updated more often (for example, the Gold Coast).
We fly very frequently to update the PhotoMaps and our PhotoMap coverage is increasing all the time. We don’t generally give advance notice on future coverage but you can find out when updates are being flown.
Follow us on Twitter to get updates when we fly and publish the PhotoMaps.
