Why do I need cookies for this website?

2. Follow the instructions below

Google Chrome - ver 2.x+
  1. Select Tools tools button from the menu bar.
  2. Select Options.
  3. Select the Under the Hood tab.
  4. Look for Cookie settings under Privacy.
  5. Choose Accept cookies only from sites I visit.
  6. Click Close (closes the Options window).
Microsoft Internet Explorer – IE6.x, IE7, IE8
  1. Select Tools from Explorer’s top menu bar.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. Select the Privacy tab.
  4. Click on the Advanced button.
  5. Check the Override automatic cookie handling option.
  6. Set First-party Cookies to Accept
  7. Click OK (closes the Advanced Privacy Settings window).
  8. Click OK (closes the Internet Options window).
Mozilla Firefox – ver 3.5.x
  1. Open the Option preferences
    * Windows Users – From the menu bar select Tools, then choose Options
    * Macintosh Users – From the Firefox menu, select Preferences
  2. Select the Privacy icon.
  3. Select the Use custom settings for history from dropdown list next to Firefox will:
  4. Click Accept cookies from sites to tick the checkbox.
  5. Click Exceptons....
  6. Type http://www.nearmap.com under Address of web site:
  7. Click the Allow button and you’ll see www.nearmap.com listed under Site with the Allow status.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Click OK.
Mozilla Firefox – ver 2.x, ver 3.x
  1. Open the Option preferences
    * Windows Users – From the menu bar select Tools, then choose Options
    * Macintosh Users – From the Firefox menu, select Preferences
  2. Select the Privacy icon.
  3. Click Cookies
  4. Click the Allow sites to set cookies option.
  5. Click OK.
Opera – ver 9.x+
  1. Select Preferences from the Tools menu.
  2. Select Privacy in the Preferences list.
  3. Select the Enable cookies
  4. Click OK.
Safari – ver 4.x+
  1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
  2. Select the Security icon.
  3. Set the Accept Cookies option to Only from sites you navigate to (recommended) or Always.
  4. Click OK.
