HyperTiles
Hypertiles is a free tool provided by NearMap to enable the easy download of PhotoMaps from NearMap’s web site for offline use.
With HyperTiles you can:
- Select an area and download the PhotoMap of that area
- Download PhotoMap of a specific date and resolution
- Save the downloaded PhotoMap as an image file
- Print the downloaded PhotoMap you have saved
- Save the data as georeferenced tiles for use in a GIS or CAD system
Although HyperTiles is a free application use of NearMap PhotoMaps is governed by our licence terms. Use of our PhotoMaps is free for personal and most commercial use. Any government entity (national, state or local) must purchase a licence to use our PhotoMaps. If a government entity does not hold a current licence then the government entity does not have permission to use our PhotoMaps. This specifically means that personal use of our PhotoMaps at a government entity is not allowed and that our PhotoMaps can not be downloaded at another place and then used at a government entity unless the government entity has purchased a current NearMap licence.
